something that each of us can do to help the situation in Israel
Hey Guys!
i hope e/o's fast went well!!!!! mien was ok thank G-D , camp took up a chunk of the day and then b/4 i knew it the fast was over.. I'm sure e/o knows what is going on in Israel. It's a very scary time. I thought it would be a good time to do something as a seminary. i thought that if e/o made another Hachlata, do a Mitzvah that they don't do yet... this would help the safety in Israel. so i thought i would start.... and hopefully e/o will add to the list.. and i"yh Israel will win this battle with the comming of Moshiach NOW!

im going to that too thanx for doing this shaina it makes me feel much better to do something for israel
shaina and everyone else who has commented so far, i am with u on this one. in camp we try doin things for israel but i watned to do something personally too (it was relally nice last monday all the gan izzys of the erea got togethre for a rally in l.a. for israel. also in camp teh friday the war started we had a prayer for israel day.(plus throughtout teh whole week b4 shiur i would say about teh scarey sit. in israel and how they couldhelp through tefillos and learning) first i told a story that emphasised teh power of a childs prayer adn of any good action tehn i expl that the rebbe made g.i. and named it after teh bal shem tov cuz of his A"I and i expl how import taht mitzvah is then they all wrote a pon to teh rebbe for israel. then everyone got a scrap of paper to write a mitzvah they will do fro israel and attached ti to a balloon (that was shared with apartner to emphasis A"Y) and tehy had a balloon lift off. it was really nice.
so i would like to take upon myself to be more optimistic adn ahve more ahavas yisroel
shaina i think this is a beautiful roject and thanx for letting me in on it. cuz as i said i really wanted to do s/t fro israel on a personal level. ( i was gonna learn with soem of my councelors but so far it has been really hard to start that cuz we ahve been having crazy days so although i still want to do that, thsi is more permenatn and perosonal)
